About Racquel
My name is Racquel, and I am an Industrial Engineer who is deeply passionate about teaching and helping others succeed. I am an incredibly hard-working person, and I bring that exact same dedication into every single lesson. For me, there is absolutely nothing more rewarding than witnessing the "lightbulb moment"—that exact second when a complex, intimidating concept suddenly clicks for a student, and their confidence completely shifts. I am fully invested in your growth and will work tirelessly alongside you to help you reach your goals.
When I am not engineering solutions or tutoring, I love staying active and exploring my creative side. I am big into running and staying fit, which keeps my mind sharp, energised, and focused. I also have a massive love for cooking and trying new foods—I look at a kitchen much like an engineer looks at a system: it's all about mixing the right ingredients in the perfect sequence to get an amazing result!

As an Industrial Engineer with hands-on corporate experience, my approach bridges the gap between dry academic theory and real-world execution. I do not just help you pass your exams or survive your corporate presentations; I teach you how to apply analytical problem-solving tools to drive measurable results.
Methodology & What Makes Me Unique
My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in my engineering training: efficiency, optimisation, and continuous improvement (Kaizen). I also am incredibly patient and want to see you succeed!
- Goal-driven approach: In our very first session, we map out your specific needs and create a tailored roadmap to solve them.
- The "Theory-to-Factory" Bridge: What makes me unique is my ability to take abstract concepts (like operations research, queuing theory, or statistical analysis) and explain them using real-world case studies from my time working in industry. Additionally, I am able to take highly theoretical concepts and apply them to real world examples, to make solutions far more tangible.

What to Expect From a Typical Lesson
Every lesson is structured to maximise your return on investment:
1. The Alignment (First 5 Mins): We review your immediate goals for the day and check in on previous concepts/ go through any homework.
2. The Core Breakdown (35 Mins): We tackle the core topic using an interactive, step-by-step approach. If we are doing maths, we solve problems together. If we are doing professional coaching, we run through real-world scenarios, case studies, or mock interviews.
3. The Practical Application (15 Mins): You take the driver’s seat to apply what you just learned, ensuring the knowledge sticks.
4. The Takeaway (Last 5 Mins): We summarise key insights and I provide highly curated, optional practice resources for you to review before our next session.
