About Marcus
I started as an ESL teacher in 1999 and have since also developed a career as writer, poet and YouTuber.
I have taught both children and adults who have appreciated my fun and highly varied educational experiences.
As a writer, I have been published in many prestigious journals, including "Quadrant", "Poetry Pacific" and "The Big Issue". Self-publication has been in the form of poetry books, and books on ESL, the internet and coding.

I tutor all levels of English ESL and I am highly supportive of your learning.
I use personalised methods, both online and in real, to ensure that your learning experience is memorable, enjoyable and useful.
This includes learning from audio books, playing word games, facilitating real-life conversations, and many other ways to have fun with the language.
You will soon gain confidence and experience with English and be able to use it in a wide variety of situations: for making friends, finding jobs, and getting by in life.
