About Graham
I am a passionate French tutor with 20 years of experience teaching college students. My goal is to make learning French simple, enjoyable, and practical. I believe that language learning should not feel stressful, so I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and improving step by step.
My teaching style focuses on real-life communication. Instead of only memorising grammar rules, I help students use French in everyday situations such as conversations, presentations, and writing tasks. I use interactive methods like role plays, storytelling, and discussions to make lessons more engaging. This helps students gain confidence in speaking and understanding the language naturally.
I also personalise each lesson based on the student’s level, goals, and learning speed. Whether a student wants to improve speaking, prepare for exams, or understand French culture, I adjust my teaching to meet their needs. I include modern tools such as videos, audio clips, and digital exercises to make learning more interesting and effective.
I strongly believe that consistency and motivation are the keys to success. I guide my students with regular feedback, practice exercises, and encouragement. My aim is not only to teach French but also to inspire students to enjoy the language and use it confidently in real life.
