About Mira
I earned my Master’s Degree in Economics and have dedicated ten years to teaching students how to interpret and understand the complex systems that shape the global economy. My interest in the subject developed from a deep curiosity about how decisions made in one part of the world can impact lives across entire continents. Over time, that curiosity transformed into a mission to help others recognise these connections and understand their role within them. In my teaching, I emphasise critical thinking, open discussion, and practical relevance. I encourage students to explore different perspectives, question assumptions, and develop informed opinions based on evidence and analysis. By supporting individual learning styles and fostering open communication, I help students build both knowledge and confidence. My goal is to ensure they feel capable of engaging with economic topics thoughtfully and independently. I continue to expand my expertise by following global developments, conducting independent research, and participating in educational forums. Teaching economics is not just about delivering information — it is about empowering students to see the world with clarity and responsibility. Being part of that intellectual and personal growth is the most meaningful part of my professional journey.

Economics is the study of how people, institutions, and nations make decisions in a world of limited resources. In my lessons, I guide students to see beyond equations and graphs, helping them understand the real human and social impact behind economic choices. I create an engaging environment where discussion is encouraged and complex ideas are simplified through relatable examples. By linking academic theories to current global and local events, students begin to understand that economics is not distant or abstract, but deeply connected to everyday life. Students start by learning fundamental concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, supply and demand, and market structures. As their knowledge grows, they delve into inflation, unemployment, international trade, and government intervention. I use case studies, data interpretation, and visual models to strengthen understanding. Advanced students examine economic indicators, conduct policy analysis, and explore the long-term effects of financial decisions on communities and nations. This layered approach allows students to build both knowledge and analytical strength. Through economics, students develop critical awareness, strategic thinking, and a deeper understanding of global systems. They become more conscious consumers, more thoughtful citizens, and more informed decision-makers. These skills extend into their personal and professional lives, equipping them to navigate complex economic realities with confidence, responsibility, and ethical consideration in an interconnected world.
