About Tia
Hello, my name is Ms. Ford. During my time in undergrad, I started off tutoring college athletes for extra money. I found that I really enjoyed tutoring and could provide students with the extra help they needed to pass their classes. Everyone I taught has excelled pass their initial thoughts before attending tutoring. Now, I teach at a school and teach students part-time after school. I want to spread my knowledge and skillset to others so they can succeed.

My teaching style is tailored specifically for each student. I first assess how the student is currently performing in their course and what information is being missed in class. Then, I provide the student with personalized skills towards their success. This includes giving supplemental material for the student to build forgotten skills, reteaching class material in a way that the student understands, and reassuring the student fully learns the material before moving onto the next step.
