About Cristina
Hi! My name is Cristina and I'm a Mexican artist & researcher living and working in the UK from the last 5 years. During this time, I've been working within the creative sector, but also as a Spanish tutor, from time to time. I have almost a decade of experience designing and teaching personalised Spanish courses, always considering my students' objectives and cognitive needs. I enjoy sharing my knowledge in something so vital as language learning/practising and also, learning in the process myself. What I normally do is to check the student's level and his/her/their particular needs, it is why is/are s/he/they learning Spanish and how can we tackle whatever barrier we have on the way, together. When I get to know the person's interests, I work my way around them and create specific material for him/her/them. It's a bit challenging, but this simple method has worked for me quite well since I first implemented it, back in 2012. Cristina has been a great teacher. She helped me ramp up from the basics of Spanish all the way through to speaking it. She is patient and knowledgeable, and can adapts to the students needs.
