About Jorge Uriel
I am an intern of the Degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Panamericana. My philosophical interest is mainly concentrated on: idealism and German romanticism, post modernity, ancient philosophy, phenomenology, hermeneutics, ethics, philosophy of culture and philosophy of music. In addition to my philosophical training, I am trained in classical Greco-Roman philology, so I can also teach subjects of Greco-Latin etymologies. With respect to the cinema, I have taken several courses on: structuralism and film narrative, history and screenwriting of horror films, psychoanalysis and art, etc. My five great passions are: philosophy, music, film, literature and videogames. I am currently a volunteer professor of philosophy and film, and history of philosophy.

I believe in the creative freedom of knowledge. My classes are dynamic, varied, deep, detailed and fun. I believe that the student has to develop through critical dialogue and a guide that stimulates his creative and imaginative thinking. To paraphrase Hegel: monotheism of reason, polytheism of the imagination. My courses are aimed at any interested party of any age, however, my specialty is high school subjects (logic, Greco-Latin etymologies, ethics and history of philosophical doctrines) and regularization in philosophy degree.
