About Mohammad Saad
I am an internal medicine doctor, interested in autoimmune diseases and general medicine. I have always enjoyed teaching through medical school and during my clinical practice. I have worked on my teaching skills by working as a medical education teaching fellow, completing a masters in medical education and being involved in teaching whether it is for medical students, healthcare staff or patients.
I genuinely enjoy breaking down concepts in easy to understand chunks and working through a topic with a student to improve their understanding of a subject. Teaching a topic also improves my understanding of the subject and teaches me new ways to explain the subject matter.

I first identify the learning needs of the student and come up with a teaching plan as per the initial discussion with the student.
I can teach via presentations, case-based discussions, mini-lecture. The teaching technique is adapted to the nature of content and the student preference. The key aspect of my teaching is that I allow room for discussion and questions throughout my sessions.
Typical length of a lesson: 30-60min
Qualifications: MBBS, MRCP (UK), Masters in Medical Education
Experience as a tutor: Developed and delivered medical education across undergraduate and postgraduate settings. Experience includes designing a three-month teaching programme for final year medical students on assessment and management of acutely unwell patients; delivering seminars, lectures and clinical skills sessions as a Medical Education Teaching Fellow; teaching haematological malignancies and Care of the Elderly topics at hospital departmental teaching sessions; and providing regular ad hoc bedside teaching to medical students during clinical rotations.
