About Aamani
I have been an extremely academically-driven person from a young age, and being a student in the IB program has only exacerbated this trait. I've taken accelerated classes such as calculus in the 11th grade and have been a Spanish student for coming onto five years now. I am committed to not only my own success in these classes, but that of my classmates and any students who reach out to me for help. The IB program has taught me the value of working with my peers and putting our heads together to create quality work with quality understanding of the material. My method of teaching is kind and gentle, as I understand the anxiety that comes with not understanding certain topics. As your tutor, rest assured I will create an environment of professionalism, understanding, and passion for learning, regardless of the subject at hand.

My approach as a tutor involves working diligently with the student to pick apart concepts they are struggling with, identify the root of the difficulty, and give helpful tips and advice to help overcome these learning obstacles. I am passionate about homework help, but am also willing to do practice questions, create flashcards, and use other learning techniques that work best with the student. I can assist with practicing vocabulary, writing, speaking, listening, and more. I work best with elementary and middle schoolers, but am more than willing to tutor 9th and 10th graders as well.
