About Anna
As I get ready to begin my PhD in History at Oxford University this October, I am excited to extend my tutoring services, beginning now and continuing throughout my doctoral studies. My academic career thus far has been marked by an excellent record, having graduated with Distinction from the London School of Economics with an MSc in History of International Relations, following a First-Class Honours degree in BA History from UCL.
Throughout my academic career, I have cultivated a diverse skill set essential for fostering enriching learning experiences. I firmly believe that effective tutoring transcends the mere dissemination of knowledge; it involves nurturing academic proficiency, instilling confidence, and fostering a genuine passion for the subject matter.

At the heart of my approach lies the principle of customization, where each lesson is meticulously tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of individual students. By adapting my instruction to their specific requirements, I ensure a personalized learning journey that optimizes comprehension and retention.
In every tutorial session, I bring to bear a blend of enthusiasm, attentiveness, drive, and keen intelligence. Emulating the dynamic discussions typical of university-style tutorials, I delve deeply into the material, fostering an environment conducive to critical thinking and academic exploration. Moreover, I encourage students to delve into supplementary reading materials, nurturing their curiosity and expanding their understanding of topics that intrigue them. These qualities not only foster an engaging and vibrant learning atmosphere but also serve as catalysts for students to unlock their full academic potential.
I am committed to supporting students at every stage of their academic journey (GCSE, A Levels, and University) and I look forward to the opportunity to guide and inspire them as they navigate the complexities of History and beyond.
