About Sergio
I am an internationally exhibited portrait photographer and visual artist with more than 30 years of professional experience in portraiture, fashion, editorial and fine art photography across Paris, New York, Milan, Panama and Montreal.
Throughout my career I have worked with magazines, artists, actors, dancers and public figures in both editorial and artistic environments. My work has been exhibited internationally in galleries, museums and photography fairs.
My photography focuses primarily on black & white portraiture, sculptural lighting, emotional presence and authentic human expression. Alongside my artistic practice, I enjoy teaching and helping students develop both technical confidence and a deeper personal vision in photography.
I work in English, French and Spanish and create a calm, supportive and professional learning environment adapted to each student’s level and goals.

My teaching approach combines technical foundations with artistic perception, helping students not only understand how to use a camera, light and composition, but also how to develop confidence, vision, emotional presence and a personal visual language.
I specialize particularly in:

• Emotional expression and natural direction
• Visual identity and composition
• Fine art and editorial portrait aesthetics
My lessons are adapted to each student’s level and goals, from beginners discovering portrait photography to photographers seeking to refine their artistic voice, portfolio and visual style.
