About Janette
I am an educator with 40+ years of experience in the classroom and as a school head. I am culturally diverse and taught children of all abilities. I have also prepared children for entrance exams for UK boarding schools.

My teaching is inquiry based and concept driven. Children asking questions and directed discovery. Minimum chalk and talk! Most of my experience has been with the IBPYP curriculum framework but I am also competent to teach the British National Curriculum.

I met Janette a few years ago through a friend. She has been teaching my 2 children (ages 9 and 5) for the past 12 months. She is incredibly calm, kind, and understanding. She has a way of keeping learning fun and engaging for all stages and ages. They have improved so much in a very short time, and they look forward to their lessons every week. We are English, living in a Turkish-speaking country, so I wanted to ensure that my kids were getting a UK-based curriculum as well as Turkish. Janette has been a godsend!
