About Mahak
I am currently studying Bachelor of Nursing at Federation University in Victoria. I have tutored students from year 1 to 10 in Math, English and Biology. I have completed my Grade 12 with the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Psychology and I am a native Hindi speaker. I have taught until year 10 in my home tuitions.
I have always helped students understand concepts by relating them to real life, as I put emphasis on understanding the concepts rather than rote-learning. I am flexible with timings, but they need to be discussed beforehand as I am studying at the moment.

I attune my teaching technique to suit each student as I believe in a customized learning style and that every student is unique for which I adapt easily. I am a patient and understanding tutor who doesn't mind repeating the topics, if required by the student. I ensure that my students are confident in the topics I teach them. My goal is to get rid of the fear any student might have for any of the subjects that I teach because I understand how it feels, as I was a high school student myself not too long ago. I treat my students with the kindness I received as a child by my tutor who completely changed my view on Mathematics as a subject in year 10 and I ended up scoring 97/100 on my finals, inspiring me to do the same for others.
I am pursuing bachelor's in Nursing here in Victoria at Federation University, hence, I am still in contact with studying and have improved my teaching techniques along the way.
