About Matthew
I am a practicing tax lawyer looking to tutor a bit. Teaching and the Spanish language are passions of mine, and I figured tutoring would be a great avenue for me to help to get involved in both. I am a native Spanish speaker and received a minor from the University of Florida in Spanish language. As an attorney, I read and write in Spanish on a daily basis, and communicate in both professional and personal settings in Spanish on a daily basis as well.

My teaching method is flexible and patient. As someone who learned a new language from scratch, in my case it was Portuguese, I understand that learning a new language can be intimidating, uncomfortable, and frustrating. Adapting to the individual's level of Spanish would be a key part of how I approach tutoring.
