About Liana
I am a dedicated pianist and teacher with over 20 years of musical training and more than 6 years of teaching experience. Originally trained in Russia’s rigorous conservatory tradition, I now run piano lessons in Sydney, blending professional discipline with a supportive and engaging approach.
Certified in Musical & Choral Education (7-year program, Piano and Ensemble studies, Moscow, 2014).
Key Achievements:
Laureate Winner at the Young Talents of Moscow Festival (11th & 12th editions) — Piano Solo category.
First Prize — Debut International Festival-Competition, Moscow (2012)
Laureate, Grade III — Vivat Musica! Open Competition for Young Musicians (2013)

I teach using a structured yet flexible approach, blending the discipline of Russian piano methods with the Australian AMEB Piano for Leisure syllabus.
Lessons are usually 30–60 minutes, depending on the student’s level and goals. I work with children, teens, and adults: from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for exams.
My lessons focus on developing strong technique, musical expression, and independent practice habits, while keeping the process enjoyable and inspiring. Every student receives a tailored term plan, ongoing guidance through a lesson diary, and monthly progress reports to track growth. Whether your goal is to play for leisure, build musicianship, or prepare for exams, I provide clear direction and support to help you succeed.
