I am Paul Aletor (Male), an English Tutor. A first degree holder and TEFL Certified Teacher. The reason why I want to teach is born out of passion to impact knowledge and help students to succeed. My personal approaches to private tutoring involves tailoring my lesson to cater to each student's unique learning style, pace,and academic needs. I adopt the learner-centered approach which is particularly what is needed for the 21st century learning and teaching as opposed to the traditional teacher-centered approach, where students are just passive learners. This fosters a supportive environment, builds confidence, encourages open communication, thereby ensuring meaningful understanding and long-term academic growth.
My lesson plans are customised in such a way as to suit the individual learning styles, building rapport to boost student confidence, using real-life examples for clarity, providing regular feedback, setting achievable goals, and adapting methods based on progress made.
