Motivation & Mental Support often works miracles for me... Most slow learners aren't really slow, but they are that way because they were made to believe that they're slow due to a task they couldn't do better early in their childhood. I usually give them something to make them see themselves as empty pages and help them understand that it's up to them to write their own stories. I discuss goals/dreams with them and the marks/results they hope to archive and stay on that path until they can actually see themselves making it happen. Once that goal registers in their consciousness, their minds ultimately finds a way to work towards attaining that goal.
