About Khorshid
I was introduced to traditional Iranian music at an early age, growing up in a musical family with a deep appreciation for this rich cultural heritage. I specialize in both Setar (a beautiful and expressive Iranian string instrument) and traditional Iranian singing. I have over 15 years of experience playing Setar and more than 5 years teaching both instrumental and vocal music to students of all ages. After years of personal exploration and dedication, I decided to pursue music academically as well—earning a second bachelor’s degree in music alongside my career as an architectural designer. Today, as a trained musician, I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping others connect with the beauty of Persian classical music. I offer personalized, engaging lessons in both Setar and traditional Iranian singing, tailored to all levels.
