About Claudia
've always worked with people both in Italy and in UK, with customers in Harrods- Toys Department and in restaurants, with students in a swimming centre (in particular children and teenagers). I was a member of the scout group Galliera Veneta-Tombolo, AGESCI, from 2004 to 2015 and in the last two years I helped the scout leaders with many activities which I found very rewarding. During my high school and university years (from 2010 to 2018) I used to tutor children and teenagers in maths, physics, chemistry, technical design (Autocad 2D/3D use), english, italian and PE. I've chosen to be a tutor because I love interacting with people, in particular students, and helping them improve and specify weak areas.

Italian
I prefer working with small groups or individuals. I have a calm and steady personality, prefer working in a quite area to avoid distractions, but I know it's not always possible. I've found making examples and hands-on learning really effective, specially in scientific subjects. At the same time I don't want to change too much from the school teacher's method to avoid confusion, but I like to give more instruments and solutions. I encourage students to ask as many questions as possible and, at the end of the lesson, I make questions to the students to be sure they have understood the lesson or if they have any doubt.
