About Elena Abigail
My passion for the Italian language and culture has been the driving force behind my learning journey for many years. What began as a personal interest soon became a genuine commitment to understanding not only the language itself but also the traditions, history, lifestyle, and rich cultural heritage of Italy.
I have traveled to Italy on several occasions, which has allowed me to experience the country firsthand, immerse myself in its culture, and interact with native speakers in real-life situations. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills and deepened my appreciation for the Italian way of life.
In addition, I had the opportunity to study in Italy, where I further developed my language abilities through direct exposure to the language and culture. To complement this practical experience, I earned an official Italian language certification from the Official Language School of the Canary Islands, demonstrating my dedication and proficiency in the language.
I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for Italian with others and helping students discover the beauty of the language in a motivating and supportive environment. My goal is not only to teach grammar and vocabulary but also to inspire an appreciation for Italian culture and help learners gain the confidence to communicate effectively.
I believe that learning a language is a gateway to new experiences, perspectives, and connections, and I am excited to guide students on their own Italian language journey.

My Italian lessons are designed to be engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's individual goals and learning style. Having lived in Italy for eight months and earned a B1 certification from a Language School, I bring not only language knowledge but also real-life cultural experience to every class.
Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps in Italian or a learner looking to improve your speaking skills, my lessons focus on building confidence through communication. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes, which is an essential part of the learning process.
Classes include a balanced combination of vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading, and conversation practice. I use authentic materials and cultural insights to help students understand how Italian is used in everyday situations, from ordering food at a restaurant to having meaningful conversations with native speakers.
My teaching approach emphasizes practical language use rather than memorization alone. Students are encouraged to actively participate, ask questions, and practice speaking from the very beginning. Lessons can be adapted to specific objectives, such as travel preparation, academic support, personal enrichment, or general communication skills.
I believe that learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable. My goal is to help students develop their Italian skills at a comfortable pace while discovering the beauty of Italian culture, traditions, and daily life.
