About Noemi
I am a professional translator and I am really passionate about teaching Italian, my mother tongue.
I have been giving Italian lessons since 2012, both individual and group lessons. I have taught plenty of students, since I also worked as Italian language assistant at Manchester Metropolitan University.
In Italy, I helped international students graduating in Italian, while in the United Kingdom I give lessons to students of all levels, from the beginner level to the advanced one.

I usually personalise the learning environment to the students' needs and interests, by using different media as well: newspapers, short stories, YouTube videos, films, podcasts and music.
I actively involve my students in the delivering of the class, I encourage them to be partecipative, by usually beginning from the discussion of a topic of interest and then proceeding with the correction of homework: grammar exercises and writing about a topic.
Even though I usually plan my lessons in advance, of course I am always open to requests.

Details
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel at least 48 hours prior to the day of your lesson, you will not be charged. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the day of the lesson will incur a charge equivalent to half of my rate (i.e.: two-hour lesson: £20 if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to the day of your lesson).
