About Miranda
Uh-oh! You may have met your match. I'm a Los Angeles native who holds a master's from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor's from U.C. Santa Barbara. My superpower is my way with words, and ability to transfer that skill to my students. My mission is to make the nebulous process of drafting clear, concise and cogent sentences surfable. As a testament to my knack for words: I produced a six-page investigation that was published on the cover of the San Francisco Weekly, I worked as the health reporter and Spanish correspondent with the Jackson Hole News&Guide, and I am about to have a byline with Slate Magazine. Help me help you... hit my line!

Often spotted with a pen in hand, I spend the bulk of my days writing as a professional journalist. Upon contributing to the development of app essays that landed students into the graduate programs of their dreams — i.e. Ph.D. in pharmaceuticals at U.T. Austin, M.S. in biomedical engineering at Purdue, and J.D. at Gonzaga — I'm raring to offer my essay writing services to you! I welcome students of all ages seeking to level up their literary talent, be it for school essays, college apps, personal statements, or cover letters.
