Hi, I'm Bernice from Nairobi! I am a native Swahili speaker and I love teaching my language to people from all over the world.
I am patient, friendly, and I always make my students feel comfortable. I speak English fluently, so I can explain everything easily if you are a beginner.
I have helped many friends from USA, UK and Europe learn Swahili for travel and work, and now I want to help YOU too!
When I'm not teaching, I love music, traveling around Kenya and learning about other cultures.

Jambo! Welcome! I'm bernice,your friendly native Swahili tutor from Nairobi, Kenya.

We will focus on speaking from day 1! No heavy grammar. I will teach you greetings, market shopping, ordering food, directions, slang (sheng'), and everyday conversations.
I use stories, music, videos and fun role-plays. Every lesson is made just for YOU and your goals.
I teach all levels - from complete beginner (who doesn't know "Jambo") to advanced learners who want to be fluent.
