About Wakane
I am a singer and model based in California, where I’ve lived for 20 years. Living here without an English tutor was definitely challenging for me. That’s why I want to teach Japanese to those interested in learning the language and culture, especially those who wish to live in Japan. I’d love to be a bridge connecting two different cultures and share wonderful experiences along the way.

I enjoy having conversations in Japanese, using a bit of English to help students improve. If you’re able to express yourself but others don’t understand, focusing on sounds and pronunciation can make a big difference. As a singer, I use music and lyrics to make the learning process more fun and engaging!
