About Grace
My teaching approach centers on building strong guitar fundamentals and expanding your musical horizons. I guide you step by step, starting with basic finger placement and chord shapes. We explore music production basics so you can understand how your playing fits into a bigger sound. Through loop layering, you learn to create rich arrangements even as a solo player. Improvisation flow is a key part of every lesson, helping you express yourself freely. We also work on stage-style playing, focusing on confidence and presence. If you love intricate picking, I provide exercises and songs to develop your fingerstyle skills. If you prefer precise technique and tone, my lessons include classical-inspired practice and repertoire. Each lesson is tailored to your goals and comfort level. I offer flexible scheduling and a patient, supportive environment. You learn at your own pace without judgment. Together, we set realistic targets and celebrate every milestone. I’m a dedicated guitar teacher with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies. My passion lies in helping adult learners rediscover their love for music, especially those returning to the instrument after years away. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time in decades or finally giving yourself permission to learn, I’m here to support you.
My teaching style is warm, patient, and flexible. I understand the unique challenges adult learners face — busy schedules, self-doubt, and sometimes a little rust. That’s why I offer flexible scheduling and completely judgment-free sessions tailored to your pace. There’s no pressure, just progress — one step at a time.
I focus on real-world musical goals: learning your favorite songs, improving technique, improvising confidently, and even exploring composition or beat-making if you’re curious. Every lesson is designed to keep you motivated, engaged, and proud of your growth.
