About Natasha
After 13 years performing in NYC and on tour, I realized that the best teaching comes from real-world stage experience. My studio has grown to include 142 students ranging from busy working professionals to dedicated teens and returning adult learners. I hold a BM from Boston Conservatory at Berklee with piano as my second study.
Teaching is my way of passing on the lessons I learned in the audition room. I focus on jazz improvisation and complex chord voicing while emphasizing hand independence for every skill level.
Sight reading and transposition are standard parts of our technical curriculum. Memorization techniques serve as a backbone for my approach to performance. My goal is to keep you playing for years to come. I hope you enjoy our time at the keys.

Starting with your first session, we get right into the mechanics of how your fingers interact with the piano keys. You might find that the hardest part is simply choosing which chord to play next, but we solve that together through specific exercises. I provide weekly practice modules assigned with every class to bridge the gap between our meetings.
These assignments ensure that advanced learners and hobbyists alike maintain steady progress throughout the week. We prioritize technical foundations like hand independence and sight transposition to make your playing feel effortless.
I use my own piano during our time together to demonstrate how to navigate tricky rhythms or complex jazz structures. My job is to ensure you feel secure in your musical choices while exploring new styles. You can expect a consistent and kind atmosphere where every technical mistake serves as a chance to refine your ear. I promise to keep the focus on healthy piano habits that make long term growth sustainable.
