About Mariana
My name is Mariana Abad, and I'm a freshmen at California State University, Bakersfield, majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism. I am passionate about learning English and history! They're both vast subjects with much to learn and experience. Furthermore, it's a dream of mine to educate and spread this enthusiasm about these topics with others.
P.S, I love creative writing and my favorite historical period is all things Tudors!

Having achieved a 5 in AP United States History and recently won the 1st place prize for Kern Council of Teachers of Education College writing award, I consider hard-work and dedication to be a crucial part to the success process. For me, it's important to instill these values into all my students; primarily by prioritizing the task at hand, creating goals, and working through issues one step at a time.
