I am a junior college student as well as an SI leader at my college. The courses I am comfortable teaching have been courses I have gotten A's in, and I do not include courses I got an A in but do not have complete confidence teaching. - My teaching is designed on active implementation, so explaining concepts and then attempting the concept after explanation.
- Teaching is dependent on the topic you wish to learn about, and is not structured in a "standardized way" for everyone; it will be dependent on what you need and the depth you require.
- I have acted as a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader since my freshman year in college and have learned new ways to help explain information, teach to different groups of people, and push important details to get to an answer.
- My lessons are for K-12 students, and potentially post-secondary students dependent on what needs taught.
