About Jeet
I am a sophomore in high school with hands-on experience teaching and mentoring students across a wide range of subjects and age groups. Through my volunteer work, I have tutored Ukrainian students in English from complete beginner to advanced level, designing custom lesson plans and activities tailored to each student's needs and learning pace. Through Ohio Youth STEM, the nonprofit I co-founded and lead, I have developed and delivered hands-on STEM workshops for students from second through seventh grade, which has sharpened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and keep students engaged even when the material is challenging.
I was enrolled in AP Precalculus in the 2025-26 school year and got a 5 in the AP Exam. The skill of breaking things down and making them understandable is what I bring to every tutoring session.
I am patient, well-organized, and genuinely invested in helping students build confidence alongside their skills. I believe that good tutoring is not just about explaining a concept once and moving on. It is about staying with a student until the idea actually makes sense to them, and adjusting the approach whenever it is not working. Students who work with me can expect clear communication, consistent preparation, and a tutor who takes their progress seriously.

I teach by starting where the student is, not where I think they should be. Before diving into any content, I take time to understand what a student already knows, where they are getting stuck, and how they learn best, whether that is through examples, practice problems, visual explanations, or working through concepts out loud together. From there I build lessons around their specific needs rather than following a generic script.
A typical session starts with a quick check-in on what we covered last time, then moves into the main concept for the day with a clear explanation followed by worked examples, and ends with the student trying problems on their own while I give feedback in real time. I adjust the pace based on how they are responding, and if something is not clicking I find a different way to explain it rather than just repeating the same approach.
What sets me apart is that I have real experience making complex topics accessible to people at very different starting points. I have tutored Ukrainian students in English from beginner to advanced level, designed over twenty custom activities and lesson plans, and led hands-on STEM workshops for students as young as second grade through Ohio Youth STEM. I know how to read when someone is lost and course correct before frustration sets in.
My lessons are well-suited for middle school and high school students looking for support in math as well as anyone wanting to strengthen foundational skills before moving into more advanced coursework. I am patient, consistent, and genuinely invested in making progress visible for every student I work with.
