About Yuan
In terms of math competitions, I achieved Top 30 in AMC12 in 2018,. and scored 12 in the American Invitational Mathematical Examination (AIME). I was qualified for USAMO 3 times. I was a team leader in the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament (HMMT) in 2018 and was placed 9th in Geometry as well as 23rd in Number Theory out of over 1000 participants. I also was a team leader in the American Regions Mathematics League and was placed 1st globally.

I am able to help prepare for standardized tests such as GRE, SAT, SAT subject test, etc. and a variety of mathematics contests such as AMC, AIME. I have had 3 years experience in teaching topics in those tests or contests.
Typical lesson plan includes diagnosis of current level on a specific test, and focus studying on topics that the student need more preparation.
