About Sonia
My name is Sonia. I have just completed my A-levels in biology, maths and chemistry and I hope to do medicine in the future. I want to teach because I enjoy helping students learn, grow in confidence, and achieve their potential. It is rewarding to see a student develop their understanding of a topic, overcome challenges, and gain the confidence to solve problems independently.
I am passionate about creating a positive and supportive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to ask questions and engage with the subject. I enjoy explaining concepts in different ways to suit individual learning styles and believe that patience, encouragement, and clear communication are key to helping students succeed.

I usually begin by working through two or three example questions to demonstrate the methods and techniques needed to solve them. After that, I give the students a set of practice questions so they can develop their understanding and improve their skills independently. If they have difficulty with any of the questions, they are encouraged to ask for help, and I will explain the solution again until they understand it.
I then set homework based on the topic covered in the lesson. At the beginning of the following lesson, we go through the homework together, mark the answers, and discuss any mistakes. I explain any errors and revisit the relevant concepts to reinforce the students' understanding.
