About Yalda
I’m passionate about teaching because I want to use the knowledge others have given me to help students like myself. I’m grateful for my education, especially because I once struggled—particularly with maths—but with the right support, I improved significantly and went on to achieve top GCSE grades (9s and 8s) and win the UKMT Maths Challenge. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, which helps me relate to my students and guide them with patience and empathy. I’ve tutored children for SATs and GCSEs, and they’ve passed with flying colours. I’m committed, skilled at explaining tricky topics, and genuinely want to help others succeed just as I was helped.

Hi! My name is Yalda and I offer engaging, personalised tutoring lessons designed to help you reach your full potential. I achieved top grades in my GCSEs, including multiple 9s and 8s, and I was also a winner of the UKMT Maths Challenge — showing my strong academic background and problem-solving skills. I have previous experience tutoring students for both SATs and GCSEs, and I’m proud to say they all passed with flying colours.
