About Isla
I am a keen singing tutor with 3 years of experience teaching students new to vocal training. I have successfully guided around 92 students, helping them build a solid foundation in breath control, pitch, and stage confidence. My teaching philosophy is centered on encouragement, patience, and clarity, ensuring every student learns at a pace that feels comfortable and achievable. I explain each concept clearly so students understand not just what to do but why it helps their voice. My aim is to help every student build a strong, confident start to their singing journey.

My teaching method for Singing, Vocal Technique, and Music Theory focuses on giving newer learners a solid, encouraging foundation, even with a few years of guiding students so far.
Encouragement shapes how I teach, since building early confidence plays a major role in how much a student enjoys and sticks with singing.
Patience is central to my lessons, since vocal development takes time, so I never push a student faster than they are ready for.
Clarity stays present throughout, since I explain each concept clearly so students understand not just what to do but why it helps their voice.
Sessions typically begin with breathing exercises and vocal warm ups, move into pitch and tone work, and gradually bring in music theory basics like rhythm and note reading.
For students ready to progress, I introduce basic stage presence work and simple genre exploration across classical, pop, or contemporary styles.
I adjust my teaching to fit each student's personal goals, whether singing casually or working toward more structured training. My aim is an encouraging, patient, and clear space for every developing voice.
