About Kendrick
Hi, my name is Kendrick. I am a future UCLA student with 3 years of tutoring experience and a strong academic background. Throughout high school, I challenged myself with many AP courses, college-level courses, and additional online certifications, which helped me develop strong study habits and a deeper understanding of how to learn effectively. I also run two nonprofit organizations, which has strengthened my leadership, patience, communication, and mentoring skills. As a recent high school student myself, I understand the pressure, confusion, and fast pace that many students face today. Because of this, I try to teach in a way that feels clear, realistic, and supportive. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them build confidence, stronger foundations, and better learning strategies for the future.

I teach Grade 3–12 math and AP math using clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and practice questions based on each student’s level. A typical lesson starts with checking weak areas, explaining the topic, doing guided examples, and then letting the student try questions independently. What sets me apart is that I am a recent high school student with strong grades, so I understand modern classes, tests, and student pressure. I am also very good at helping students cram efficiently by focusing on the most important concepts and common question types. My lessons are for elementary, middle school, high school, and AP math students who need homework help, test prep, course review, or course preview before taking a class.
