Professional Tokyo Choreographer & Licensed Teacher: Inspiring the Next Generation Hi, I’m Reiko! I am a professional dancer, choreographer, and certified coach originally from Tokyo, Japan. With over 20 years of experience on the professional stage and as a director, I bring authentic Tokyo style and energy to my young students here in Sydney. Energy, Joy & Expression: Fun-Filled Beginner Lessons My lessons are designed to be the highlight of your child's week! Whether it’s their very first dance class or they are looking to improve their groove, I provide a nurturing environment where every child can shine. What Your Child Will Learn: • Jazz & Girl’s Hip-hop: Fun, age-appropriate routines to upbeat tracks. • Rhythmic Movement: Improving coordination and listening skills. • Japanese Language: Learning Japanese naturally while moving. • Mind & Body Health: Incorporating Yoga-based stretching for flexibility and focus. A Typical 60-Minute Lesson: 1. Warm-up & Japanese Greetings (15 min): Preparing the body and learning basic Japanese phrases. 2. Skill Building (15 min): Learning basic Jazz or Hip-hop steps in a fun, game-like way. 3. Choreography (25 min): Dancing to favorite J-pop, K-pop, or global hits! 4. Cool-down & Reflection (5 min): Gentle stretching and celebrating today's progress.
