About Alexa
I am a gap year student applying to study dentistry. Outside of studying and mentoring, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time at the beach, and travelling — basically anything that keeps me active and enjoying life. I am passionate about helping and inspiring others in life. My aim is to make these sessions engaging and fun, so it will not only be a highlight to your week but also really help you achieve the grades you dream about.

My lessons will be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. The focus is solely on the student, aiming to get them to where they want to be in their academic career, helping them build the knowledge, confidence, and skills to achieve their goals. My initial focus will be on establishing their individual goals and to see what areas they struggle with. I believe students should be empowered by being in charge of their own progress, by deciding on the areas they would like support in and how long we spend time on it — making sure every session is shaped around their needs. I aim to create a professional, safe, welcoming and inspiring workplace and truly hearing what my students have to say. By doing this I aim for my students to feel heard, supported and at ease, which I believe will motivate them to develop and thrive. Although I will cater to each individual student's learning styles, the lessons will have engaging communication and building up of genuine connections in their work, which will not only end up with them achieving their goals but also growing into a confident, determined and love for learning individual.
