About Ashley
I was in college for a year to become a teacher. I've always been drawn to math, especially algebra, and actually find it fun in a way. I think it's better to try to work and understand someone one on one. I have nieces who I've babysat so I've learned many coping skills with kids and am aware they all work differently. I also worked for 2.5 years in fast food so I have experience working with different personality types in which I can appropriately adjust around.

We will start off discussing your child's needs and what's most important for them. I will make note of all this and go from there with my lesson plans. In our lessons I will emphasize it is important to focus and that problem-solving can happen in many different forms. If one approach doesn't click with your child I have many other options. I took a teacher's math course in college so I know for some students it's more important to understand the why's in algebra and not the how's. Overall I am very flexible and patient.
