About Jacqui
I hold a degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Rehabilitation Sciences and am currently studying to become a veterinarian in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. Throughout my own education, I've never been the student who found things easy — I've had to work hard for every result, which taught me effective study strategies and, more importantly, real patience with the learning process. I want to tutor because I know firsthand that struggling with a subject doesn't mean you can't master it; it just means you need the right support and someone who won't make you feel behind. I bring that same mindset — hardworking, encouraging, and detail-oriented — into every lesson I teach.

My approach to tutoring comes from personal experience: I wasn't naturally the top of my class, so I know what it feels like to struggle with a concept and had to develop real strategies to work through it. That's exactly what I bring to my students — patience, practical study techniques, and a genuine understanding of where things can go wrong. Lessons typically run 60 minutes and are tailored to the student's pace rather than a one-size-fits-all method. Having completed a science degree in Kinesiology with a rehabilitation focus, and now studying veterinary medicine, I bring strong, current knowledge in Physics, Maths, and general Science. My lessons suit high school students who want a supportive, judgment-free space to build confidence and improve at their own pace.
