About Ania
I am an avid knitter with at least five projects going at all times. When I'm not knitting, I'm reading, cooking, making tea, writing, or playing my saxophone Charlotte. My two favorite projects are a pair of pride-striped, long socks and a white, cabled, pom-pom hat. Throughout my day, I prioritize patience, and I do my best to make sure I'll leave this world better than I found it.

I'm excited that you're considering me as your knitting tutor! For our first lesson together, we'll share some of our favorite knits. It's okay if you haven't made anything; in that case, we can talk about your boundaries for knitting, what inspires you, and what you'd love to be able to make. In further lessons we'll go through basic techniques including stitches, increases and decreases, slipped stitches, and cast-ons and cast-offs. If you have more experience, we can spend our lessons exploring exciting patterns, brainstorming some of our own, and learning ways to find ideal yarns and tools. No matter your newness to the craft, you can count on me to be patient. Everybody starts somewhere, and I'd love to help you along! I specialize in cuff-down socks, but can also help with tops, blankets, hats, scarves, shawls, mittens/gloves, stuffies, and advanced stitch patterns.

Perfect! Great first lesson. Introductions and even got started with some basic skills which she was patient with and has the savvy to do well over camera. I was uncertain if knitting would be easy to learn over video and Ania alleviated any notion it wouldn’t!
