About Cohen
I am a committed Spanish tutor with 10+ years of experience helping High School and College students improve their language skills. During my teaching journey, I have successfully taught around 150 students with different learning abilities and academic goals.
Every student has taught me that patience, encouragement, and clear communication are the foundation of successful learning. My aim is to make Spanish easy to understand while helping students enjoy every lesson.
My teaching philosophy is based on learning through understanding rather than memorisation. I believe students should know how and why the language works so they can use it confidently in real situations. My lessons include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I use interactive discussions, practical conversations, reading passages, and creative activities to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Every lesson encourages students to participate, ask questions, and practice regularly.
I also believe that continuous improvement comes through regular revision and constructive feedback. Students receive personalised guidance that helps them strengthen their skills while building confidence. I include cultural topics and everyday expressions to help students connect with the language beyond textbooks.
One of my proudest achievements has been helping around 150 students improve their examination performance and become confident Spanish speakers. Their success motivates me to continue growing as an educator and improving my teaching methods.
My goal is to inspire students to enjoy learning Spanish while developing communication skills that will support them in academics, travel, and future careers.

I teach Spanish with a student-centred approach that is practical, interactive, and motivating. Accountability ensures learners set goals, monitor progress, and take responsibility for their learning journey. Integrity guarantees lessons are honest, fair, and adapted to each student’s strengths and challenges.
I embrace Flexibility, adapting lesson plans, exercises, and strategies to suit different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal goals.
Communication is at the core of my methodology; I encourage conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students internalise grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates achievements, and fosters confidence.
I also integrate complementary subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide practical context and enrich learning. My goal is to help students achieve fluency, confidence, and a lifelong passion for Spanish.
