About Riko
I am a 19-year-old International Japanese University Student, I previously lived in Australia from 2023-2024 before returning to Japan to finish my studies, and am now back to earn a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Psychology. I enjoy meeting new people and am excited for the opportunity to teach others about my language and culture.

The first lessons will be based on Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, and Suuji (If you have textbooks or specific things you wish to work on that can be incorporated). After showing a good understanding of these topics we’ll move onto communication, this will take the most amount of time. Communication can be broken up into a few parts, Formal speaking, Informal speaking, topics such as sports, food and general questions you may need to know in real life situations. I am capable of adapting my teaching to however it is you best learn. Having at least one Japanese textbook would be helpful for us to be able to properly structure lessons, and so we have a record of what you have learned, are learning, and what needs work.
