I was very happy with Annabelle, she was very patient and clear in her explanations. Most importantly though she built up an excellent rapport with my daughter which enabled her to sucessfully engage my daughter in whatever task they were doing. My daughter lacked confidence in maths at the time and Annabelle gave her the boost she needed by clearly explaining methods and techniques and ensuring that my daughter understood it before moving on.

Annabelle is friendly, polite, extremely well educated and very knowledgeable. She got on really well with my son who was studying for his 11+. She was flexible with her tutoring times when necessary and always arrived promptly and got straight down to work. Annabelle was patient and always took the time to clearly explain when my son didn’t understand something. She surpassed all our expectations and her teaching has had a tremendous effect on our son, who always enjoyed working with her. Annabelle provided constructive feedback on the areas where my son was doing well, or where we could help him to improve. We are still awaiting the test results, but my son entered and left the exams with the confidence that he would do very well. We are grateful for all her help and would highly recommend Annabelle to prospective tutees.
