About Minal
About Me
I’m a qualified KS2/KS3/KS4 Science teacher with two years of classroom experience and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). I also hold a degree in Biomedical Science and have been a personal tutor for over eight years. During my university studies, I worked as a Student Learning Assistant, supporting first-year Biomedical Science students with their assessments and exam preparation. I also spent six months as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, helping Year 6 pupils prepare for their SATs, and later worked as a Nursery Teacher for eight months — so I’m confident supporting learners of all ages and stages.
My Teaching Approach
Every student learns differently, and I always tailor my sessions to suit individual needs. Whether it’s building core understanding, exam preparation, or boosting confidence, I’m here to guide and support every step of the way.

Initial assessment to test their capabilities, understanding their strengths and challenges of subjects. Following with detailed PowerPoint presentation with breakdown of topics to help better understand difficult concepts, with fun activities to further strengthen knowledge. End of lesson pop quiz to summarise and ensure student has covered main points of said topics.
