I am an experienced, enthusiastic and focused Science teacher who has ten years of teaching Chemistry, Physics and Biology to secondary level students. I have been, successfully, tutoring students for GCSEs in Science. Many of my students have gone on to study Science subjects at' A' Level and at degree level. I feel passionate about my role as a facilitator of learning and believe in making learning Science fun and interesting for my students. . The importance of establishing a supportive relationship with students, their parents and fellow teachers is instilled in me as is the importance of promoting and reinforcing a student’s independence and self-esteem. I have had roles in promoting Science literacy and setting up the BTEC Applied Science course. I enjoy challenges and broadening my knowledge and experience.
At the moment, I am focussing on tutoring Key stage 3 and 4. I offer tuition from my home in Wokingham. My fees are £35 per hour ( individual tuition) and £20 each per hour (group tuition for up to three students).
