About Ethan
I am an 18-year-old aspiring medical student, currently predicted A*AA in A-level Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology. At GCSE, I achieved two Grade 9s in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and a Grade 8 in Chemistry. However, I did not always perform at this level. In my early mock exams, I was typically achieving grades 5 and 6 in these subjects. Through consistent hard work, determination, and effective study strategies, I was able to significantly improve my performance.
This experience has inspired me to help others reach their full academic potential, particularly in subjects they find challenging. For example, one of my friends in GCSE Chemistry regularly called me each week before exams to go through difficult topics and practise exam-style questions. With my support, he improved from a Grade 5 in his mock exams to a Grade 8 in his final GCSE examination. I believe my ability to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable explanations, alongside teaching effective exam techniques, enables students to build confidence and achieve their best results.

Initially I will start off with a starter exercise (mainly going over what was covered in the most previous session) and go over the answers. We then move on to the part to what the person wants to go over, and I will explain in depth the topic, the sorts of questions you can get and provide examples on how to answer said questions. I will then get the student to answer some questions and explain their thought process. At the end of the session, if there are any questions we haven't done I will give as homework. This session would usually last an hour, hopefully going through the content I want to go through. About 5 years ago I mainly helped 2 of my friends in GCSE chemistry and GCSE maths, and most recently I helped 2 year 11s in GCSE Chemistry. These sessions are mainly for those doing their GCSEs in either GCSE maths (AQA or Edexcel), GCSE AQA further maths and GCSE AQA chemistry.

I'd happily recommend Ethan as a maths tutor. He's reliable, patient, and always willing to put in the time to help others understand difficult topics.
Ethan has a strong understanding of maths and is great at explaining things in a way that's easy to follow. He's happy to answer questions, go over topics more than once if needed, and makes sure students feel comfortable asking for help.
One of Ethan's biggest strengths is that he's dependable. If he says he'll be there or help with something, you can count on him. He takes tutoring seriously and genuinely wants his students to do well and build confidence in their abilities.
I think Ethan would make an excellent maths tutor, and I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone who is knowledgeable, approachable, and reliable.I know this person as we went to school together and were in the same class. I would recommend Ethan because he helped me with some subjects during GCSEs and helped me improve my grades. So I would highly recommend him because he actually cares and would help most people thrive during this stressful time.
Great maths tutor as he can explain even the most difficult of topics in a clear and easy to understand way. He is also very patient and supportive of his students. I would highly recommend him to anybody who is looking for maths help.
