About Elliot
I'm a theoretical physics student at Lancaster University, now in my second year. I got top grades in GCSE and A-Level maths and physics, and I use both every day in my degree. I keep explanations clear and check you've actually understood a concept before moving on, not just memorised the steps.
My Tutoring Levels:
GCSE & A-Level: I offer tutoring for both Mathematics and Physics.
University: I tutor Physics 1st year students only (including the necessary maths that comes with a physics degree). Please note I do not tutor pure mathematics modules or proofs.
Outside my degree I play football for my college at Lancaster, go on runs by the canal, and enjoy listening and discovering new music.

My lessons are tailored to suit your specific goals, level, and pace. We run interactive 60 minute online lessons. I screen-share my iPad like a live whiteboard, writing out step by step problems and formulae in real time so everything is clear and easy to follow. To make the most of our hour, you can upload any homework sheets or specific questions you are stuck on into a shared Google Drive folder before our session. This allows me to pre-prepare our working out so we can get straight into solving them together.

Hourly Rates by Level:
GCSE Modules: £15 per hour
A-Level Modules: £20 per hour
1st-Year Undergraduate Modules: £25 per hour
Please note: The first 30-minute introductory session is free so we can test the Zoom connection, review your syllabus, and set up your shared Google Drive folder.
