About Hong
The capability of speaking in multiple languages and play with the accents, it's just like adding spices into a conversation. My spices are Cantonese and Maderian. They are my mother tongue. However, the Teochew dialect was actually the primary oral tool I learned to speak. Then I learned English in New York city because of education. Then I decided to learn Japanese because of ramen and anime. And as now, I'm still enrolled in college and learning Italian because of the food and my best friend's parents do not speak English. I probably will learn Spanish and Russian afterward. I don't remember the exact number of people I have taught but I did teach English and Chinese to children from kindergarten to college students within various time frame through assistant teaching and private lesson, both in FUK and NYC.
My goal is not to help you master Chinese, but help you to learn it more effectively and efficiently toward conversational level.

Teaching Method:
- I must know your personal goals and worries before teaching (if any)
- List of vocabularies will be provided (mostly relevant to the grammars) words exceeds the level of 6th grade will not be taught.
- No homework will be given because I don't force people to learn. However, I'll help you correct your writings (if any) and I'll give them back in the next lesson.
- Pingyin keyboard
- Songs, Movies, Dairy, and video recording (optional) will be the main tools
- Webcam, if we are far from each other
- Practical exercise (optional, if you live in NYC), such as supermarket, restaurant, China town...
- I'll not yell at you (unless you request it)

If the client canceled the lesson after I got on the train or bus, an additional $2.75 will be charged.
Therefore, please let me your cancelation, the lastest, 2 hours before the lesson starts.
If I were late, the equal amount of time of my lateness will be added to the lesson for free and no tariff cost of the day will be charged.
