About Rosie
My name is Rosie and I am a confident and creative person. I have always loved working with children and am passionate about helping them to learn. I currently work as a supply teacher and get plenty of time to help children grow and learn.
I have always loved maths and continue to puzzle and challenge myself to-date. I am a very adaptive person, as I myself often had to switch things up to fully grasp concepts. Breaking things down has made me a very patient person and is key to fully understanding how to then help someone else.
After graduating I realised my passion for teaching and would love the opportunity to continue help others develop their skills.
I look forward to working with you, helping you rediscover your love for maths!

My approach is calm and friendly, my aim is to help children learn and not feel stressed or worried about something they are struggling with. I like to build up confidence and encourage questioning to learn and develop a skill.
I prefer a typical 1 hour lesson, giving time to review previous lessons, complete a lesson and then recap.
When teaching I take time to understand in our first lesson, how someone best learns and then can utilise this to plan other lessons to fit.
I have always been a strong maths student, and although no longer studying have been working in childcare for 4+ years and have been teaching these children alongside caring for them. I make lessons clearer and simpler and make sure a child feels safe and can enjoy their learning.
I have predominantly worked with Primary aged children KS1,KS2.
