About Olivia
I entered University through a diversity scheme, aimed at enabling access for students from an underrepresented background. Therefore, I now have a passion to pass on my knowledge to other students, furthering access to higher education.
I have previously tutored in Biology and Chemistry A-level having studied these alongside History. Whilst I can still offer tutoring for these subjects, having now gained a degree in Law I would like to offer Law tutor. I have previous experience of providing guidance, reviewing personal statements and assisting with LNAT and interview preparation for Law and this is something I take great care and pride in doing.

My approach is taking 45minutes to an hour on a pre-specified topic of Law, engaging with any problems and questions the student. This could be explaining a specific area in more detail, reviewing previous essays or work to look for improvements or providing proofreading and feedback on work such as a dissertation.
I can also provide guidance and feedback on Law applications, such as personal statements and LNAT preparations.
I have attained a high 2.1 in Law from Durham University, with a first in my dissertation on the limits of consent as a defence in criminal law. This tutoring is mostly aimed at sixth form and University level students. I have previous tutoring experience from tutoring in A-level Biology and Chemistry.
