About Renee
I've been tutoring students for most of my life – I started teaching younger students in my neighbourhood at age 13 and also taught children at an orphanage at age 15. I am passionate about teaching and love to watch my students grow. I believe in a teaching system based on positive reinforcement, and I believe what a student needs is clear guidance and strong encouragement.
As for why I have decided to teach English, I have always had a strong passion for the language. I completed my law degree at the age of 20 and recently completed the Bar Training Course, so I'm on track to becoming a barrister in the UK! The legal route, of course, requires one to have a strong command of English to excel, so hopefully that shows that I'm qualified enough to teach the subject!
